Irish Water Safety will run two 'Introduction to Water Safety' classes in Leisureland swimming pool during National Water Safety Awareness Week, which takes place from Monday, 26 May to Monday, 2 June.

These classes are aimed at adults, including non-swimmers, and will teach some of the basic skills needed to save a life. There will be a class at 8.30pm each night on Wednesday 28 May and Thursday 29 May. It will consist of a talk as well as demonstration and practice of rescue skills in the pool (bring swimwear for this). The class is free and all are welcome.
