Galway United's hopes of U-21 glory ended in Bray on Saturday when they were defeated in the semi-finals of the Enda McGuill League Cup.

United squandered a glorious with a missed penalty in the opening half but Cathal Fahy equalised after Bray hit the front.

However, Billy Clery's men were unable to get on top and Bray sealed a place in the final against Derry City with a second goal.
