Galway United face the long trek south as they face Cobh Ramblers in St Colman's Park on Saturday evening, with a 7.45pm kick-off.

This crucial relegation battle is a huge game for both sides, who find themselves occupying the bottom two positions of the eircom League.

Cobh looked dead and buried last weekend, but they somehow came-back from a two-goal deficit to grab a point from fellow strugglers Finn Harps, thanks to a Daryl Kavanagh injury-time strike.

United go into the game without John Lester, who completes his two-match ban; the ill Ollie Fenn; and Alan Keane who is still recovering from a knee injury.

Doubts remain over the fitness of John Russell who is struggling with a persistent ankle injury. Either Jason Molloy or Derek Glynn are expected to start up front with Jesper Jorgensen, with one of the midfielders missing out, as United seek to claim all three points.
