Galway United make the long trip eastwards on Friday evening to take on Bray Wanderers at the Carlisle Grounds, with a 7.45pm kick-off.

United secured a valuable point last weekend with a hard-earned draw against Sligo Rovers in Terryland Park, however, that result didn't come without its disadvantages.

United had Alan Keane sent off for a poor tackle and as a result he will miss the next three games. With Regi Nooitmeer departing, Seamus Coneely may well take his place, resulting in a possible place for Jeff Kenna on the bench.

John Russell hobbled off with a recurrence of his ankle injury and may be a doubt for the Bray encounter.

Ciaran Foley made a brief appearance last Friday and may well be the one to replace Russell, should he miss out.

Bray were on the end of a four goal drubbing by Derry city last weekend, and may well be low in confidence as a result.

United will be pushing hard to capture the three points, and it may well prove to be their best chance in quite some time to do so.
