Galway United FC has recruited local businesses to join a new 10% club; an initiative designed to reward season ticket holders who can avail of a 10% discount in selected stores in the city and county.

Each participating shop will have a Galway United 10% Off sticker at their point of sale and supporters will get the discount on presentation of their season tickets.

Included among the businesses who have signed up the initiative are: Specsavers, Claddagh & Celtic Jewellers, Hynes Shoes, Hanley Menswear, Malt House Restaurant, Becketts Bar, Geraghtys Menswear, Deeleys Menswear and Sean Costello's Hair Design.

City Taxis are also rewarding Galway United season ticket holders with a €1 reduction for all fans on production of their season ticket.

Season tickets are currently on sale in Zhivago Records, Shop Street and from the Galway United Office in Terryland Park - 091 767336. Adult Season Tickets cost €250, Concession (O.A.P., Students & Juveniles 12-16yr) - €120, Family (2 Adults & 2 Juveniles 12-16yr) - €500 and Terryland Tigers U-12's cost just €40.
