Pictured are Galway footballer Nicholas Joyce Galway hurling legend, Joe Rabbitte, Galway hurler, Ollie Canning, at the announcement that Guinness Hurling Cubed is coming to Galway. Galway has been selected as the first city to host a Guinness Hurling Cubed event, in Salthill Park, from Thursday 26th through to Saturday 28th June.

Remember Eric Cantona reffing a three-a-side caged soccer tournament on his personal cargo ship. Now add hurleys to the mix and you've got something close to the idea for the new Guinness Hurling Cubed format - an exciting new hurling game played in a purpose-built cube where teams of three players compete for three minutes or until three goals are scored.

Galway has been selected as the first city to host a Cubed event, which will take place in Salthill Park, from Thursday 26th through to Saturday 28th June.

Played with 21" hurleys and a soft touch sliotar, the game is a fast paced and exciting derivative of the real thing. Players over 18 who are interested in taking park can log onto www.guinness.com and register a team today.
