Moyle Rovers (Tipperary) 4-18 It was a disappointing trek back from O'Moore Park, Portlaoise on Sunday for Sylane hurlers after they were swept aside in the All-Ireland junior semi-final by an impressive showing from Tipperary side Moyle Rovers. Retired Tipp football star Declan Browne showed his ability with the camán to grab 1-6 of the Rovers total, producing a host of classy touches over the hour. His colleagues in the full-forward line were also in top form with Paul Johnson notching 2-2 and Brian Mulvihill helping himself to 1-3. The game was over as a contest at half time with the Moyle inside trio bagging a goal each en route to a 3-10 to 0-3 interval lead. Shane Brady salvaged some consolation for the Connacht champions with a neat goal midway through the second half. But with time running out, Johnson was on hand to finish an excellent move with his second goal and wrap up an All-Ireland final showdown with Kilkenny club Conahy Shamrocks.
