Titans recorded a victory in their opening game of 2008, against AOL Broadband Waterford in Renmore on Saturday. Titans played without three injured regulars, Conall MacMichael, Rinvydas Visockas and Lenis Mitkus but were able to call on Colin Turke, Danas Pusinkas and Liam Doheny.

Titans took an early lead thanks to Paulius Peldzius and Chris Joyce, but did not really capitalise on Waterford's misfortunes.

Waterford's three points advantage at the start of the second quarter was quickly eroded by a pair of three-pointers from Jack Considine.

Paulius Peldzius and Danny Finn started finding form around the offensive hoop to help open a gap of nine points at half-time, while Waterford lost the influential Alexandro Vera for a fourth foul and then dissent.

Titans' Liam Doherty kept Waterford dangerman Steven Begadon scoreless in the second-half, while Paulius Peldzius and Darren Callanan were impressive for the Galway side.

Considine repeated his second quarter performance with another pair of three pointers in sequence to extend the lead to twenty-one points. Titan's cruised through the fourth quarter with Danny Finn picking off nine points and sharing the top scoring spoils with Paulius Peldzius.

Titans (75): Paulius Peldzius (20), Danny Finn (20), Jack Considine (12), Chris Joyce (6), Darren Callanan (5), Sarunas Virblinskas (3), Derek Mulveen (3), Tom Costelloe (2), Colin Turke (2), Liam Doheny (2), Danas Pusinkas.
