The Connacht provincial squad – including international duo Johnny O'Connor and Gavin Duffy – are the special guests at the launch of the IRFU Tag Rugby season tonight in Busker Brownes bar.

Tag is now recognised as the fastest growing sport in the country as well as a tremendous social occasion, with thousands of players using the sport to play a fun brand of rugby as well as to keep fit and meet new people.

170 teams, spread over three different venues, took part in last year's Galway event.

Registrations will be accepted this evening and all teams will be entered in a draw for a special price of free team registration and a set of jerseys supplied by official kit supplier OB Sport. Buskers is the official venue for the IRFU Tag at Dangan and the venue will host a series of "après rugby" events throughout the summer.
