On this Saturday night Galway will bid to add to their camogie all stars with eleven All Star nominations at the Gala banquet at the City West Hotel, Dublin.

Susan Earner is bidding for her first All Star and has been nominated in goal, with Regina Glynn bidding for her second award in the full back line. In the half back line, previous award winners Sinead Cahalan and Ann Marie Hayes, along with Niamh Kilkenny are nominated. Sinead Cahalan is bidding for her third award, while Ann Marie Hayes became the first ever Galway Camogie All Star in 2004 at right corner forward. Niamh Kilkenny is bidding for her first All Star Award in the half back line.

In the half forward line previous winner Therese Maher is seeking her third nomination, while Aislinn Connolly is a strong contender for his first award in the full forward line. If the latter succeeds in getting the award, she will become the first father and daughter from Galway to win All Star Awards, as her father, legendary hurler John Connolly scooped hurling All Star Awards in the very first All Stars in 1971 and winning a second award in 1979.
