The Connacht Tribune senior schools rugby semi finals will take place this week to decide who will contest the final on March 16.

Garbally, who knocked out the holders Colaiste Iognaid 6-5 in the quarter-finals, are at home to Clifden today (Wednesday) in the first of the semi-finals.

Clifden Community School, despite losing captain Dave Mullen to injury in the second minute, overcame the 'Bish' 20-16 in the quarter-finals.

On Friday Gallen Community School will host Marist College from Athlone in Ferbane in the other semi-final.

The final will take place at the Sportsground on March 16th.
