There was no separating Galway United and Sligo Rovers at Terryland Park on Friday night as they played out a one-all draw.

Alan Murphy, on his return to United colours, had the home side in front on 33 minutes from a free-kick and they held the lead until half-time.

Mauro Almeida equalised for Rovers in the second half but despite both sides having chances to add to their tallies, the score remained deadlocked to the final whistle.
