Maree/Oranmore hold juvenile soccer club AGM E-mail

At a well attended A.G.M of the progressive Maree/Oranmore Juvenile Soccer Club held in the Maree Community Centre recently, Dominic Delany of Creganna was elected Chairman of the club for the forthcoming year. Martin Horgan from Maree and Liam O'Carroll, Frenchfort were appointed Joint Vice Chairmen, while Michael Shivnan from Ashbrook will be the club's Honorary Secretary.

Stuart McCamley will take the role of Assistant Secretary, while Enda Cox will be Honorary Tresurer and Noreena O'Brien will be the Club Registrar.

Liam O'Carroll and Martin Horgan will be joint PROs for the coming season.

In 2008/2009, the club will cater for boys' sides from Under-6 up to and including Under-14 level and will field girls' teams from Under-6 up to Under-11 grades.

The club expressed its thanks to the people of Maree and Oranmore, the Oranmore Community Development Association, the Maree Community Development Association and the authorities in Calasanctius College for all their assistance to the club.
