![]() The bad fortune which has afflicted Galway hurling on the injury front took another turn for the worse with Shane Kavanagh being ruled out for the next six weeks. Kavanagh suffered a broke bone in his hand and required surgery surgery in the latest blow to hit John McIntyre's team. The Kinvara clubman suffered the injury in the second-half of their win over Cork on Saturday evening. Galway lost David Collins, Ciaran Donovan and Brian O'Mahony for the season and then wing-back Adrian Cullinane was ruled out for the year with an injury picked up against Clare. Portumna's Eugene McEntee and Damian McClearn of Loughrea would seem the most likely to replace Kavanagh for this weekend's clash with Waterford. |
