GMIT hurlers prepare for Fitzgibbon Cup E-mail

Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology (GMIT), for the first time in its 36-year history, has reached the Fitzgibbon Cup finals which will be held in Cork this weekend.

The GMIT Fitzgibbon Cup squad are hosting a fundraising night 'Texas Hold Em' night tonight Wednesday 27 February in Bodkins Bar at 7.30pm sharp. The first prize is €1,000.

The panel of 30 which include several inter-county stars including Limerick All-Star Andrew O'Shaughnessy and Galway senior hurler Ger Mahon will be travelling to Cork tomorrow to play the reigning champions Limerick IT on Friday, with the final on Saturday.

Tickets, €30 or two €10 buy-ins are available on the door on the night.
