Glasgow Celtic XI set to fill Terryland Park E-mail

The new stand at Terryland Park looks set to be full to capacity twice in the week after it is officially opened after Galway United announced a friendly against a Celtic XI for next month.

The Glasgow Celtic Football Club XI will take to the field on Wednesday 8th August at 7.45pm, giving the Galway public the opportunity to see some of Celtic's established players and rising young stars.

This game, coming a week after the encounter with Sunderland is expected to see another capacity crowd at Terryland Park.

Season ticket holders will be allocated the first batch of tickets for sale at half-price (two per season ticket holder), which will go on sale from this Wednesday until from the Galway United offices at Terryland Park.

Tickets will then go on general sale at the Galway United v Bray Wanderers match this coming Friday from 6.45pm in Terryland Park.

Ticket prices for this match are as follows: New Stand €25; General Ground admission €20; Season Ticket Holders €10; Juvenile, U16, Student & OAP €10.
