Galway United are inviting all supporters to attend an open forum next Tuesday, December 4, at Beckett's Bar in Bohermore. The event is part of the 2008 season ticket campaign and will highlight plans for next season both on and off the field. Speaking at the forum will be Galway United's manager Tony Cousins and CEO Nick Leeson and gives supporters a chance to put their questions on next season to the panel. Nick Leeson believes this open forum gives the Galway public a chance to have their views heard in the build up to the new season. "Galway United's supporters are the very heartbeat of this club which is why it's very important that they stand beside us as we build this club to become one of the best in Ireland. I look forward to outlining our plans for 2008 next Tuesday," he said. Tony Cousins sees this event as an important opportunity to get feedback from the Galway public. "The Galway United supporters have been fantastic throughout the 2007 campaign particularly towards the end of the season when the going got tough. "We now have the platform to build on this and the open forum presents an excellent opportunity to meet the supporters who are on this journey with us. Galway United Supporters Forum takes place in Beckett's Bar next Tuesday at 6.30pm and all supporters are invited to attend. Meanwhile, Galway United is launching a new FREE text alert system; keeping supporters up-to-date on everything happening at the club.
