| Galway open FBD League campaign away to Sligo |

Galway footballers will have their first competitive outing of 2007 when they take on Sligo in the opening round of the FBD League on Sunday. The game is scheduled for Tubbercurry on Sunday (2 pm) and Galway will also have games against Leitrim and GMIT over the next couple of weeks in the group stages of the competition. There will be two other games in the competition this weekend with GMIT taking on Leitrim at Pearse Stadium on Sunday (2pm), while John Maughan's Roscommon meet Sligo IT at Elphin on Sunday. |
