No matter who came out it would be a second meeting following the round robin series but the high-flying Galway camogie side face a solid test from now on as they play reigning All Ireland champions Wexford in the Gala All Ireland Senior Camogie Championship semi final at Nowlan Park in Kilkenny on next Saturday week, August 16th. In the other semi final Cork take on Tipperary and it will be a solid test of character for Galway to win a place in the final.

Galway defeated Wexford when the sides met earlier this season but the reigning All Ireland champions finished with a flourish and confirmed their All Ireland semi final place when they hammered Limerick last weekend.

Wexford scored 7-27 in that game with Una Leacy and Ursula Jacob both scoring 2-8 apiece. It will be a most difficult assignment for the Galway side but against the All Ireland champions, there is no doubt but Galway will bid to get back into their first All Ireland final in ten years.
