Gavin Duffy is poised to return to the Connacht side from World Cup duty as Michael Bradley's men face another difficult away trip this weekend.

Duffy is likely to be drafted into the side at full-back as Connacht, on the their travels for third week running, bid to oust Magners League leaders Cardiff Blues at the Arms Park on Friday evening. Michael Bradley and his assistant Eric Elwood are likely to make several changes to the side following the disappointing display in Glasgow with John Fogarty, Ray Ofisa and John Muldoon among those set to to start.

Cardiff have won four of their five games to date ? they got turned over in their own backyard by Leinster who then fell to a huge defeat to a Llanelli side who had conquered Connacht the previous week.

Bradley says they know they face a big task but he believes they can give Cardiff a run for their money on Friday night.

"Cardiff are a very strong side. They were very close to winning the Magners League last year and they've started this season very well.

"They had a great win last week against Munster in Musgrave Park which will fill them with confidence and they are a very difficult side to beat in the Arms Park.

"But we have a few things to sort out ourselves and if we can correct those we can present them with a big challenge on Friday," said Bradley.
