Connacht resume their Magners League campaign when they travel to Murrayfield on Friday to take on an Edinburgh side who have been experiencing a rich vein of form since the two sides last met at the Sportsground in October. Since then Edinburgh have gone on to record victories over the Scarlets, Ulster, Glasgow and Cardiff which has seen them go level on points in the Magners League table with Munster in fourth place. Connacht coach Michael Bradley is wary of the flair with which Edinburgh play but is also quietly confident of his sides ability of the match. "Since we played Edinburgh last, they've had a very good run of results which ended with Munster's defeat of them at Murrayfield last time round," he said. "We're very much aware of the type of game they'll try and play. We've got to insure that we put pressure on them in defence to insure that they can't secure their offloads. "That could then create opportunities for us to convert defence into attack and if we can convert those opportunities it could swing the balance in our favour at the end of the day. "This type of game will suit the frame of mind of our players, in terms of playing in Murrayfield which always has an excellent surface. Connacht lads always look forward to playing in a stadium such as this," he added. |
