Connacht will bid to put their disappointing loss to Ulster behind them when they take on Glasgow Warriors at the Sportsground on Friday evening (6.30pm).

And in the process Connacht can banish the ghost of their 16-15 loss away to Glasgow in Firhill last month.

Connacht badly need to get another win under their belt in the Magners League and while Glasgow have been in good form this season, Michael Bradley's men will be fired up for this one.

The level of disappointment in the squad after the Ulster game was enormous with skipper Andrew Farley saying that his side are far better than that result suggested.

"We know we are a much better side than that but ultimately there is only one way we can rectify this and that is against Glasgow this Friday," he said.

Connacht are likely to make some changes with a new half-back partnership of Conor O'Loughlin and Andy Dunne making their first start of the season after both have now fully recovered from injury. But it remains to be seen if former skipper John Fogarty and lock David Gannon recover in time for the match.

Coach Michael Bradley knows that they will face another searching test against a Glasgow side with plenty of class on board.

"We're aware that Glasgow are playing good rugby but the fact we are at home is a big factor in our favour.

"We're obviously disappointed with the result against Ulster last week but we're looking forward to an opportunity to correct that and bounce back from Friday night's defeat.

"We are frustrated by our own lack of success in the Ulster match but that was our first loss at home this season and we're want to put the record straight," said Bradley.

Next Friday's match at the Sportsground has been paired with the all-ticket clash the following Friday at home to Newcastle Falcons in the European Challenge Cup.

Entry to the two games will cost a total of €25.
