Hynes the Carnmore saviour as Turloughmore face relegation battle

There was high drama at Kenny Park in Athenry on Sunday evening when a point in the final minute saw Carnmore secure the last place in the Galway SHC preliminary quarter-finals and condemn neighbours and arch rivals Turloughmore to the relegation dogfight.

Now add hurleys to the mix and you've got something close to the idea for the new Guinness Hurling Cubed format - an exciting new hurling game played in a purpose-built cube where teams of three players compete for three minutes or until three goals are scored.
