Galway GAA hero and TG4 sports analyst Seán Ó Dómhnaill is "keeping his head down and working hard" according to insiders on RTÉ's reality TV show, Fáilte Towers. The series is providing much office discussion throughout the country, as the tired and overworked celebrities deal with demanding customers and the criticisms of the panel of judges.

Two Galway changes for Kingdom clash

Galway Senior Football boss Liam Sammon has made two changes in personnel for his side's All Ireland quarter-final against Kerry at Croke Park tomorrow.

Mark Lydon and Paul Conroy come into the team that beat Mayo in the Connacht final last month, after appearing as replacements in that game. Niall Coleman makes way for Lydon in midfield, while Conroy takes the place of the injured Nicky Joyce in the forward line.

Throw-in with against the two-time reigning All Ireland champions is at 4.00pm tomorrow.

 
Bogus doc targets Galway pensioners

Pensioners in Loughrea have been warned to be on the lookout for a crafty conman who has been posing as a local doctor in order to steal from people's homes.
