through their booming Funktion One sound system.

The Stunning will brew up at storm at The Black Box in Galway City over Christmas.
The Stunning formed in 1987 and broke up in 1994, but despite the passing of time, their popularity has never waned. Songs such as 'Half Past Two', 'Romeo's on Fire', and 'Everything that Rises' are still to be
heard on the radio.

Cork band Fred make a welcome return to the Roisin Dubh this December as part of their Irish tour.
The band, who played a stomping gig at the award-winning music venue earlier this year, will make a return on Friday 19 December at 9pm.

Galway Tenor Frank Naughton will launch his new album with three gala concerts at the Town Hall Theatre from tomorrow, Thursday 20 to Saturday 22 November at 8pm.
With an eight-piece orchestra and musical direction by Morgan Cooke, this lavish production, which will feature a tribute to the great tenor Pavarotti, promises a wonderful evening of operatic classics and musical showstoppers.

The world premiere of the new Saw Doctors documentary film 'Clare Island to Cape Cod', will be held in the Town Hall Theatre on Sunday, 23 November at 5.30pm.
Dublin Film Director, Steven Lock, who will attend the premiere, spent a month travelling with The Saw Doctors in the US last August and his fly-on-the-wall documentary film captures all the fun and devilment of The Saw Doctors on the road in the States, as Davy Carton, Leo Moran, and the Tuam lads gig, party, and travel across America in their 14 bed Prevost Sleeper Coach.

An exhibition of works by Brian Bourke will open at the Norman Villa Gallery in Salthill tomorrow, Thursday 20 November at 6pm.
'Smaller Works' is made up of mixed media works on paper. All the works on show are landscapes or seascapes and were largely created on site in the open air.
