Local fledgling theatre company One Shot World bring their adaptation of 'Stags N Hens' by Willy Russell (writer of Shirley Valentine) to the Black Box Theatre for three nights from Thursday 25 to Saturday 27 March.
Set in the toilets of a run-down Galway nightclub, the play focuses on the respective stag and hen nights of Dave (Gerard Faherty) and Linda (Amanda Coyne), who unwittingly arrive at the same venue.

Proffering 'potty mouth' comedy with a gravel-throated growl, Mike Wilmot is sure to deliver many a ‘did he just say that?' moment.

The RTE National Symphony Orchestra, in conjunction with Music For Galway, bring a spectacular show to Leisureland on Tuesday 23 March.
The orchestra will be conducted by Takuo Yuasa and will feature acclaimed soloists Nicola Benedetti on violin and soprano Mairead Buicke.

The celebrated Irish contemporary composer, Eric Sweeney, will premiere his new work 'Hymn to Gaia' in St Nicholas Collegiate Church this Saturday, 20 March with three of Ireland's leading choirs – Tribal Chamber Choir, Galway directed by Mark Keane; The Lassus Scholars, Dublin directed by Ite O'Donovan; and Christ Church Cathedral Choir, Waterford directed by Eric himself.

Bono's favourite U2 tribute act, 'Rattle & Hum' play upstairs at Monroe's Live on Friday night, 19 March.
The group bears an uncanny resemblance to their inspiration with lead singer Michael Malone imitating Bono in every way, from his highly emotive performance to the fly shades and leather of the Zoo Tour.
As well as perfectly mimicking the U2 sound, the band also looks the part.
