A private ambulance service is being rolled out in Galway City over the coming weeks, which will see a new company offering cover to all night venues.
The Cara Ambulance Service will be the first of its kind in Ireland and follows a pilot of the new service, which took place during the Volvo Ocean Race in co-operation with 20 local bars and clubs. The service operated for those venues and helped to reduce strain on public services.
An information evening will take place for all publicans, nightclub owners and restaurant owners on Wednesday 5 September at 7pm. The evening will be hosted by Monroe’s Live and Monroe’s Tavern. All interested proprietors and venue managers are welcome to attend.
