At Optimum Body in Briarhill Business Park, Ronnie Warde uses advanced techniques to eliminate pain, improve performance, and restore healthy movement
Located in Briarhill Business Park, Galway, OptimumBody.ie was set up by Ronnie Warde, a native Galwegian, in 2013.
It had been a long-term goal of Ronnie’s to work in the Physical Therapy area, so he decided to follow his ambition.
Ronnie’s ambition to be one of the best in his field lead to him studying in Ireland, the UK and USA. He is a qualified Structural Integration Practitioner & Anatomy in Motion Therapist and also the first to bring Nerve and Artery Release to Ireland. As one of only 18 Structural Integration Practitioners in Ireland, Ronnie’s vast knowledge of how the body works is first class.
Nerve and Artery Release is a very gentle but highly effective hands-on approach. If a client has pain of movement restriction, this treatment far exceeds any other type of hands-on approach.
“Each and every one of us in our daily life have stress, family issues, work related problems, money problems, now add all of these along with accidents and traumas, such as ankle sprains, broken bones, back pain, neck, operations, even getting a tooth pulled is trauma on your body, this put very simply is what we all call life,” says Ronnie.
“At OptimumBody.ie, I use a number of advanced techniques to eliminate pain, improve performance, and restore healthy movement. Everyone in their lives experience pain, whether it is for a few days or years! The site of pain is rarely the actual cause, this is Symptomatic. Pain is not the problem it’s a signal.”
Anatomy in motion is another highly effective treatment that Ronnie offers to his clients at his clinic. This involves the assessment of the overall posture and movement of the body and highlights where the body may be compensating for past injuries.
“I frequently find injuries or traumas that are decades old such as concussions, ankle sprains, tooth extraction, operations, scars, whiplash, burns, bunions, broken or fractured bones, illness, diet, stress, etc, can be the root cause of your current pain or symptom. The body forgets, but the brain never does!” says Ronnie. As a detailed history is taken prior to your first visit to the clinic your treatment time will be used to its full potential. With an outstanding success rate Optimum Body can help you start your road to recovery.
‘Thanks Ronnie Warde, what a difference one session has made. Throughout the whole summer I was unable to engage in much physical activity due to lower back/pelvic pain sustained in a rugby match. Before I met Ronnie, I was training on linear movements in the gym and not enough total body movement, which is crucial for rugby. He outlined an injury sustained when I was 4 years of age and concluded that it had been an ‘active’ scar directly connected to my back pain. Together we worked out exercises to get my back working again and regain fluidity in my posture. After one session I played a rugby match the following week – incredible results. Totally professional and incredibly positive. I completely recommend Ronnie to anyone having similar issues’ – Gearoid McDonald.
