Galway native Enda O’Coineen will take to the stage on Sunday 26 March at Hotel Meyrick for a special welcome home event.
He will give an illustrated talk on his latest adventures during the world’s toughest sailing race, the Vendee Globe Challenge, when he attempted a solo, non-stop lap of the planet. He spent 61 days alone at sea in his most extraordinary adventure story to date.

The event on 26 March is open to the public. Funds raised will go to the Atlantic Youth Trust, the all island youth development tall ship charity. It is being jointly hosted by the Royal Galway Yacht Club and the Galway Bay Sailing Club. The talk begins at 7pm.There is a €15 admission fee at the door with all proceeds going to the Atlantic Youth Trust Charity. For more visit www.teamireland.ie
