The Newpark Hotel in Athenry is set to reopen under new management on Friday, 16 November.
Ten jobs are to be created with the re-opening of the hotel, which closed its doors last month.
New manager Louise Egan, who has worked in the hotel for the last 15 years, said she is delighted to be taking over the hotel.
“We’ve spent the last month refurbishing the interior of the bar and restaurant and given it an exciting new look. We can’t wait for everyone to come in and see what we’ve done with the place.
“As well as doing up the bar, we’ve also worked closely with our chef, Daniel Healey to revamp our menu, while keeping some of the old favourites. We look forward to welcoming everyone in to the new restaurant to taste some of our new dishes,” she said.
The hotel offers customers a fully licensed bar, with fine wines from all over the world and a full range of draught and bottled beers, stouts, ales and lagers available.
The hotel is a popular music venue and the reopening of the hotel will see the return of traditional Irish musician and Galway Bay FM presenter Kevin Rohan on Monday nights from 6pm.The hotel will also continue with their popular outside catering division ‘Parlour Catering’, which is an ideal solution for Christmas parties in the office or home.
The hotel will also honour vouchers and loyalty cards issued by former management.
