Carried Away PR & Event Management officially opened for business on Friday at an event in the Radisson Blu Galway. Friends, family, local businesses and Lisa Cannon from TV3’s Xpose joined Caroline Downey from Tuam for a night of entertainment.
Caroline Downey, Director and Founder of Carried Away Consulting Ltd, has worked as a sales and marketing professional for 17 years. Caroline is former student of Presentation College, Tuam. Having completed a business diploma in GMIT, Caroline moved to completing a degree in Marketing and PR in the Dublin Institute of Technology. Having spent ten years in Dublin and meeting her husband Barry, a move back to Galway was on the cards. A passion for fashion led Caroline to complete a diploma in Fashion Styling.
Caroline has worked for one of Ireland’s leading marketing and communications agencies, working on award winning campaigns for some of Ireland’s leading companies including LAYA Healthcare, Supermac’s, Coca Cola and smaller companies such as Catwalk Modeling Agency, Fallers Jewellers, and Born Clothing. Caroline went on to become Sales & Marketing Manager at Goldenegg Productions, publishers of GALWAYnow magazine. Caroline is heavily involved in network organisations including serving as President of BPW Tuam.
Caroline’s new Galway-based business, Carried Away PR & Events, is a PR, Marketing, Event Management and Strategic Relations Consultancy offering a full range of services to companies, brands and individuals across a broad range of industries from small SMEs to multinationals.
