Pharmacy chain Boots is to expand in Galway, with the opening of a new store in Galway Shopping Centre on the Headford Road next week.
The new store will officially open its doors on Wednesday 24 October at 9am, with the creation of 17 new full-time and part-time jobs.
The branch will occupy a 358m² unit and will offer a range of products including vitamins, cosmetics, toiletries and a large range of fragrances. A photo kiosk, electrical beauty and baby products will also be also available, as well as the innovative No7 Foundation Match Made Service.
Customers visiting the new Boots Ireland store in Galway will have full access to a range of pharmacy services, including prescription medicine services, management of repeat prescriptions, heart and blood pressure checks and the winter flu vaccination service.
Additional services include the Boots ‘Stop for Good’ smoking cessation programme, emergency contraception and travel health advice, as well as weight management services and food intolerance testing services.

The new Galway store will be open Monday to Wednesday from 9am to 7pm, Thursday to Friday from 9am to 9pm. Saturday from 9am to 7pm and Sunday from 11am to 6pm.
