Daimler is believed to be open to such a partnership. Commuters travel two-and-a-half times around the world to work The average commuter will travel two and a half times around the world during the course of their working life, according to a new report by the UK based RAC Foundation. The report revealed that a fifth of all distance travelled today is commuting with the average daily journey taking 54 minutes. But, ten per cent of workers have a daily journey of more than two hours and three per cent are ?extreme commuters', travelling at least three hours every day. The report also listed the most hazardous regions for commuting, based on travel times, carbon dioxide emissions and casualties. One wonders would a similar report from Irish commuters be any different. |
