Mazda Motor Ireland's performance has mirrored the company's record-setting growth across Europe. Despite a slowing car market (down 23%) in March 08, Mazda Motor Ireland posted strong growth of 560 units, culminating with 3002 units registered during the peak selling period of January to March 08; a 24 per cent year on year increase. "The strong start to 2008 ensured we posted a 24 per cent growth for the fiscal year (April 07-March 08), which is an outstanding achievement for Mazda in Ireland," said Mr Lewis Beale, Sales Director Mazda Motor Ireland. "We should continue to see healthy growth after the VRT changes in July. With the introduction of the new Mazda2 and Mazda6, our new models are fulfilling Irish Customers' needs for reliability, low C02 emissions and road tax and beneficial fuel economy, whilst being fun to drive." |
