The 2008 Kia Sportage models now come with a seven-year warranty as standard.

Kia Ireland has announced that the new 2008-model Kia Sportage SUVs manufactured at its factory in Zilina, Slovakia, and backed by the 'best' new vehicle warranty ever offered by any manufacturer is now available for sale in Ireland.

Every Kia Sportage marketed from the new plant will benefit from a seven-year/150,000 kilometre new car warranty, similar to the warranty that comes with every Kia cee'd. The 2008 Kia Sportage is the first-ever SUV to be offered with such a comprehensive warranty, which is transferable to subsequent owners, provided the vehicle is regularly maintained in accordance with the servicing schedule.

"We view the this new seven-year warranty as a further endorsement of Kia's three core brand values, quality, trustworthy and dynamic, and our continuing commitment to superior customer satisfaction," commented Kia Ireland MD, James Brooks.
