The list of vans on the shortlist for the Semperit Irish Van of the Year 2008 has been released. The vans are judged by a separate panel of writers from the Irish Motoring Writers Association. The finalists are as follows: Citroen Dispatch, Fiat Scudo, Iveco Daily, Peugeot Expert, Toyota Hiace. There are lots of new cars waiting to hit the roads in 2008, eager to make their mark with new features and styling. New models abound across all brands, so it's difficult to cover them all. Here we look at some of the more significant new models across all segments of the car market from the small Renault Twingo to the new big Citroen C5. The common features now include improved safety and lower levels of harmful exhaust emissions. Interior comforts have also improved and there is new technology for safer use of your mobile phone plus hosts of technology interface kits to allow for the use of iPod technology.
