Hutton & Meade, main Nissan Dealers, are celebrating their first anniversary in their new state-of-the-art facility in Ballycoolin, Blanchardstown. They are also celebrating the award of 'Nissan Commercial Dealer of the Year' for the dealership this month.

"We are delighted with the response from the people of Dublin West to the opening of our showrooms in late 2006. Since then we have sold some 800 new vehicles and 700 pre-owned vehicles, an increase of 120 per cent on our previous year. This has exceeded all our expectations and confirms our belief that this location was ideal," said Jonathan Meade, Director.

"I believe the space, parking and quality of our showrooms and our committed team have made it much more accessible and convenient for our customers," Meade concluded.

Hutton & Meade was established in 1994 on Dublin's North Circular Road where they ran a successful business for 12 years. However, issues with space and accessibility led the dealership to move to a more suitable location. Hutton & Meade moved to Ballycoolin in 2006, investing €4 million in 1.8 acre site and a state-of-the-art facility, which includes an 810 sq metre showroom, a 560 sq metre workshop and room for the outdoor display of 150 vehicles.

Employing 33 people, half of whom are local, Hutton & Meade is committed to the area and is currently considering plans to develop the adjoining site.
