A MINI painted by internationally renowned Dublin artist, Graham Knuttel will go on display at Barry Motors showrooms on the Headford Road in February.

The latest model of MINI, which was launched in November last year, has already received outstanding reviews and bookings for orders, with test-drives exceeding the company's expectations.

MINI Ireland commissioned Graham to design a MINI as, it said, his work encapsulated the true spirit of MINI as a hip urban style car with a lot of spirit and an amazingly powerful drive. The first new MINI to enter Ireland was rushed off the transport truck to a BMW Group dealership to be stripped down to the bare body of the car for Graham to start the design.

"The style of Graham Knuttel's painting represents all the brand values of MINI. He really seems to understand the spirit and essence of MINI, which is key to popularity and success," said MINI Manager, Nicola Bissett.

The Knuttel MINI will tour the MINI dealerships of Ireland before being auctioned for charity. It will be on display in the Barry Motors showrooms from Wednesday 6 to Wednesday 20 February.
