The Dacia Logan is due for an Irish launch in 2008.

It is believed that Renault is planning to introduce the Romanian built Dacia brand to the Irish market during 2008. The Dacia brand is a lower price brand from the Renault group, which is currently only available in a limited number of Western Europe countries.

The Dacia models use a combination of Renault and Nissan developed technology in a range of cost effective models. The first model to be introduced is expected to be the Dacia Logan. The Logan was unveiled in 2004 as Europe's first under €5,000 car.
