Chrysler has a brand new car for the D segment of the market in the shape and style of the new Sebring. The car is the first Chrysler D-segment family car for Ireland and the first diesel powered and right-hand-drive model for Chrysler in the segment worldwide. ![]() The new Chrysler Sebring is a new competitor in the D segment adding a fresh element of style to the market. Prices start at €35,595 before delivery charges. This new model was inspired by the Chrysler Airflite concept vehicle that was revealed at the Geneva Motor Show in 2003. The new Chrysler Sebring's elegant styling provides a clear alternative to the traditional competitors in the market sector. The Sebring saloon comes with one high level of standard specification and a choice of 2.0-litre petrol or CRD turbo diesel engines both at the same price of €35,595, excluding delivery and related charges. The petrol engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and the turbo diesel to a 6-speed manual transmission. The Chrysler Sebring Limited standard specification includes four wheel ABS with Brake Assist, ESP with All Speed Traction Control, Next Generation driver and front passenger airbags, front seat mounted side airbags, supplemental side curtain airbags, automatic climate control, cruise control, ISOFIX child seat system, front fog lamps, 18" alloy wheels, leather trimmed seats, power adjustable eight way driver's seat, heated front seats, remote/keyless entry, Sentry Key theft deterrent system, tyre pressure monitoring display, Solar Control tinted glass, 12V power outlets (2), Multi-trip computer, tortoise shell and leather wrapped steering wheel, Audio system with radio/CD/MP3, six Boston Acoustic speakers and steering wheel audio controls. Two engine options power the all-new Chrysler Sebring, 2.0 litre petrol or turbo diesel. Chrysler Sebring's 2.0 litre petrol World Engine with dual Variable Valve Timing (VVT) rivals the best four-cylinder engines in the D-segment with its combination of fuel economy and solid performance. Linked to a five-speed manual gearbox, this engine provides 115kW (156bhp) and 190 Nm of torque. This engine returns 7.8l/100km on the combined cycle and CO2 emissions of 185g/km. The 2.0 litre turbo diesel engine produces 103 kW (140bhp) and 310 Nm of torque, coupled with a six-speed manual gearbox. This diesel engine, a first for the Chrysler Group in the D-segment, delivers impressive performance and fuel economy. It returns 6.2l/100km and CO2 emissions of 170g/km. |
