Scubadive West will host an underwater photo exhibition on Saturday 7 June at 8pm in The Bard's Den, Letterfrack.

Photos being exhibited on the night will be by John Collins; a widely acclaimed photographer specialising in both overwater and underwater shots. Based in Kinsale, John is a graduate of the New York Institute of Photography course in professional photography. He specialises in marine and landscape images.

His recent book publication; Cool Waters, Emerald Seas; depicts some of his best work to date and has been widely acknowledged as one of the finest collections of underwater images from the world's temperate seas. See for yourself by logging onto John's website www.johncollinskinsale.com.

On the night, Scubadive West will also be hosting a raffle in aid of the Project Aware Foundation. Project Aware is the dive industry's leading non-profit environmental organisation and works in partnership with underwater enthusiasts to combat challenges facing underwater environments. Organisers are urging diving enthusiasts to come show their support and swap tales with fellow diving enthusiasts.
