GBSC member Kevin Heery and his crew have just completed the ARC transatlantic race on the 'Sabrina'. According to Club PRO Margaret Donohoe, Kevin is the first Galway sailor to complete this race.

GBSC will hold its annual St Stephens Day Dinghy race on St Stephen's Day at 2.30pm. A long-standing tradition, the race will see some hardier sailors take to the sea for a dip, while the bar will open afterwards to warm up any frost-bitten adventurers.
