It's that time of year again and the tall ship, the Jeanie Johnston is preparing to take to the high seas.

Her first voyage of the season is to Dingle, leaving Cork on Monday 28 April and arriving in Dingle on Saturday 30 April.

From Dingle the ship will make another historic pilgrimage to La Coruna, leaving Thursday 1 May and arriving in La Coruna on Tuesday 6 May.

This is the first of three return trips to the Galicia region this season. This is a spectacular area and offers such a variety of things to see and do, as well as the world famous Santiago Pilgrimage Route. Whether you sail out and sail back on the Jeanie or fly out/sail back or vice versa there are many options available to create the holiday of a lifetime.

Other season highlights include trips to Galway, Bristol, Liverpool, Belfast, Milford Haven, Rathmullen and Larne, as well as regular slots in Dublin Bay, Tralee Bay, Cork Harbour and Cobh. The Jeanie will also be resident in Cork Harbour for Cork Week 2008.

The full schedule is available at www.jeaniejohnston.ie.
