Over the past six weeks dinghy sailors from GBSC have taken to the water to compete in the Falcon Fires Series for Mono Hull and Multi Hull boats.

The varying weather conditions - rain, sleet, snow, strong winds and no wind put the sailing skills of the 30 competitors to the test.

The Race Officer, Miriam Croke, stated that the large turn out each Sunday is evidence of the growing interest in sailing. She thanked Falcon Fires for their sponsorship of the series and also thanked the crash boat drivers who provided rescue cover.
