Jockey Andrew McNamara got a surprise when he called into Galway Racecourse in Ballybrit yesterday, when he found models Lynda Duffy and Layla Flaherty heading to the launch of the Galway Races in the g Hotel. The highlight of the festival, which runs from Monday 27 July until Sunday 2 August, is likely to be Ladies' Day, which has a a prize bonanza of Ä13,500. See page 2.
