![]() Pictured touching down in Galway with Aer Arann, on their way to the 2010 Tedfest, are Father 'Fingers' Dundee, Mrs Nellie Murphy and Nicky Raftery, Aer Arann. For the ill informed, it may have been as if the Pope was making a reappearance in Galway 30 years on, but it was simply Father Ted fans once again making their annual pilgrimage to the hallowed Craggy Island. 'Tedheads' began arriving by road and air to pay homage to their hero at the official 2010 Ted Fest from last Thursday. This year's festival, the fourth Tedfest, takes places over two weekends on the three Aran islands - Inis Mor, Inis Meain and Inis Oirr - the first time the three islands have been involved in the event. This year special guest, Father 'Fingers' Dundee, has flown in from Australia, connecting via Dublin with Aer Arann. This year's event has many of the traditional Tedfest fillers, with one or two more events added, such as Ted's Got Talent, The Lovely Girls' Contest, The Craggy Cup and The Loveliest Horse competition. Aer Arann is sponsoring the 2010 Tedfest event. |
