A workshop for those affected by the reductions in special needs classes will run in Galway on 2 June. Organised by Release Communication with Educate Together, the workshop is aimed at teachers, special needs assistants, resource teachers, Montessori teachers and other students. Participants in the workshop will learn valuable skills and tools to help children with speech and language problems in their classrooms.

The workshop costs only €20 per attendee, which includes handouts, resources and downloadable classroom materials. There is a maximum of 50 teachers and special needs assistants in this class so early bookings are strongly advised.

Taking place at the Educate Together School on Thomas Hynes Road in Newcastle, the workshop will run from 4pm. Registration is available online at www.release.ie/workshop or by calling 01-4939921.
