One of the world’s best-known indie pop rock bands were in Galway recently to record their new album.
Snow Patrol used The Forge Recording Studio, which is located on 42 New Road, to record tracks for the new album, ‘A Hundred Million Suns’, which is due for release on Monday 27 October.
Mr Ray Diamond of The Forge Recording Studio said the studio got a call from the band’s management about using the studio for a few days, with producer Garret ‘Jacknife’ Lee, who has worked with U2, Greenday REM, Weezer among others.
He said the band ware a great bunch of lads with no egos and no big demands.
