The Skeff Bar in conjuction with its sister hotel, The Prince of Wales in Athlone, is launching its new 2008 calendar in aid of the Galway Hospice foundation.

The Skeff's sandwich bar manager, Ashling, has compiled some of the hostelry's best easy to cook recipes and cocktails. Each month discover a new recipe and some fantastic photos of both the Skeff and the Prince of Wales.

The calendar will be available to buy from early December in both premises and will also be on sale in the Corrib Shopping Centre on Sunday, 16 December. The total proceeds from the sale of the calendars will go directly to the Galway Hospice foundation.

On December Friday, 14 and Friday, 21 December, the Skeff will be treating its customers to complimentary muffins and hot chocolate
