The Polish man who was killed in a fatal road traffic in Athenry last week has been named as Mr Czeslaw Krzak.

The 50-year-old of Sli An Chlairin, Athenry was killed instantly when he was involved in a collision with two cars on the Caheryon Road in Athenry at approximately 7.30pm on Thursday 29 November. He was pronounced dead at the scene and was removed to University Hospital Galway later that evening.
